What or Who is Holding You Back

What’s holding you back from being a success?
Is it your family?
Is it your friends?
Is it time?
Is it your health?
Is it a lack of education?
Is it your mindset?
Sometimes our family and friends are contributing factors in
our ability to become successful. They don’t provide support or
worse, they offer negative thoughts such as, “That won’t work”,
“Your idea is crazy”, and “You’ll never amount to anything”. If
these are your friends or family members create your boundaries
and tell them that certain topics are off the table for
discussion. You don’t need to have that negativity.
Where does the time go? Time has a way of getting away from us.
Between work, family responsibilities, and exercise where does
the time go to work on yourself or your goals?  Set time aside
every morning for at least 15 minutes. Six days a week at 15
minutes will give you an extra 90 minutes a week to work on
your goals, meditate, journal or just sit quiet and read.
Having health issues can compromise your ability to climb the
ladder of success. When you don’t feel well it’s difficult to
concentrate and move around. Do your best to get healthy or
make modifications to help you do more with less pain.
When it comes to education we are fortunate to have the
internet. There are many on-line courses that are affordable
and you can learn at your own pace. If you drive long distances
for work, listen to CD’s to learn more about your interests.
Mindset is everything. Success starts and fails with mindset.
It’s the old adage, if you think you can, you can. If you think
you can’t, you cannot and you won’t.
Don’t let these things hold you back.
To Your Success!
